Trainee Customer Service Agent
£15,250 starting salary + attractive sales bonus.
5 GCSE grades A-C (or equivalent) to include English and Maths. No further Insurance experience is required; however an excellent telephone manner is essential.
Hours of Work:
39 hours per week on a rota basis to cover our present opening hours of between 9am and 7pm Monday to Friday & 9am and 2pm Saturdays. We do not currently open on Bank Holidays.
Job Description Summary:
Starting on £15,250, you will have the opportunity to earn attractive bonuses to greatly enhance this figure.
We are looking for career minded individuals to provide our prospective and existing customers the high quality of customer service we, at GSI expect.
Working as part of a team is essential, as is having the self-motivation to rise to the challenge of achieving targets to sell our customers the range of Insurance products we offer. This could involve taking quotation enquiries from incoming leads, or making “warm” outbound calls.
Insurance experience is not essential as we offer structured ongoing in-house training, but having an interest in the General Insurance Market is required. Computer literacy and an excellent telephone manner are prerequisites. We would also require the successful candidate to enhance their professional development by starting to study towards the industry CII qualifications. With determination, progression to more senior positions within the company can be swift.
